Thanks Public Library

I've never been a big movie watcher. I tend to watch the same 10 movies that I understand over and over again. Luckily Emily and her library card have gotten me out of this habit. Last night we watched Jaws, which was filmed on Martha's Vineyard! We recognized a lot of the places and references. Though the town names are changed for the movie, we have been here long enough to know the locations by sight! Emily, Sharon, and I work along a lot of the beaches shown in the film. If you haven't seen it or haven't watched it in the last 20 years you should revisit and know that the island pretty much looks the same as it did in 1975 :)

I have had many people recommend The Big Year to me, but it didn't click for awhile that it was a movie about birding! We picked up this comedy with some of my favorite actors and laughed a lot. We are such bird nerds and I love it. I would recommend this lighthearted movie both for avid birders and people who don't quite understand what the fuss is all about with birding.
