
Scones for days. Literally. I made so many we ate them for days. I made both mixed berry scones with blueberries and raspberries as well as savory scones with bacon, chives, cheddar, and tomatoes.


I made what was supposed to be a watermelon and mint salad, but as botany was never my strong suit I accidentally made a watermelon and oregano salad. Surprisingly it was quite good.

Emily and I had caprese salad and homemade pizza with eggplant/garlic/red pepper sauce, pepperonis, yellow bell peppers, and mozzarella. It was so good we ate it up before taking a picture.

One of my favorite pastimes is hammock naps. It was super windy today, but it just rocked my little hammock as the sun shone in.

My snail mail wall is filling up and it makes me happy every time I see it!
