Snail Mail

I received my first piece of mail from my Grandma with a close second by my Godmother (I am still giving out my address if anyone needs it :). If I were a betting girl I would have won a large pot on that one. Did you know both ladies wrote to me religiously while I lived about 3,000 miles away in a small town in Austria? My Grandma would cut out politically relevant NY Times articles for my American Presidential Politics class which definitely made me a favorite in the class. And thank you Uncle Kee for being the mail carrier! I hope there's a nice lady at the Post Office for you to flirt with. No matter how far technology advances the feeling of seeing a handwritten piece of mail waiting for you will always be special. Thanks for thinking of me, ladies!

I've been enjoying tea out of my teapot from Tav in a mug from Emma Grace and Tyler. Tav kept me going with care packages when I was lonely and friendless in North Carolina. Luckily I don't think I'll be too friendless here as I was just served this delicious drink by my new roommate
