Asheville

Third Stop: Asheville

Going back to where it all began was such a tease. Although it was great to be back in my old stomping grounds, it's never going to be enough time to see everyone and do everything- but don't worry, I tried.

I stopped by the Parkway and made the rounds then gathered the crew to meet at the newest brewery in town. We had some craft beers in typical Asheville style and then indulged in chicken and waffles at King Daddy's. I got to stay with Dawn, Erik, and my little friend Emma at their new house. Thanks guys for hosting me!

I spent my morning walking around downtown where there were some unbelievably pink trees in bloom. I had a cherry donut and cappuccino from a guilty pleasure in town, Vortex Donuts. My 'breakfast' provided plenty of 'fuel' to burn off with my walk through the UNC Asheville Botanical Gardens.

Some of the ole Parkway girls and I had White Duck Taco for lunch - never disappoints. I had a black bean taco, a spicy chicken tender taco, and a side of watermelon with mint.
