I had the day off because of the high winds, so I took the opportunity to explore some trails around my house. I saw a half dozen species of birds, but nothing too noteworthy. 






I'll definitely be revisiting these trails as the months go on. I'm looking forward to different plants blooming and more birds.There are a lot of little streams connecting big ponds. The trail is up and down and has many boardwalks.

In addition to doing laundry and some grocery shopping at the "big" store in Edgartown I finished putting my room together. I'm finally feeling settled in. I'm going to have long hours at work for the next few months, so I'm relieved to have everything moved in at home.

It's definitely bright and airy!

Tyler and I picked up this awesome 1960s quilt at an antique store in Tennessee. I also can't leave home without a quilt from Grandma Maxine.

I put this ikea contraption together by myself, sans instructions. I'm certain it's going to come tumbling down at some point.
