Life is a walk on the beach. Literally. I pass beautiful sandcastles and stumble upon incredible sea life that I have to consult a field guide to figure out. Whether it is overcast and gray or clear blue skies and sunny, it is always an interesting light on beautiful scenery.

The long tail duck hung out for a week or so. I was out today looking for this now "usual" visitor and found a Surf Scoter in its place! Not a bad trade. Perhaps this will be a rotation of lifer birds for me.

My plovers are growing up so fast! These three officially fledged - meaning they're old enough to no longer be chicks! They can fly and all!

Never gets old
